Our client is is the World leader in the design and manufacture of Laser Engraving Systems They are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team.
They are constantly developing their range of products to increase productivity, reduce production costs and to meet specific customer driven requirements. Their machinery is supplied to a Worldwide customer base with 95% of business being exported. Design, development, production, testing and sales are all carried out in-house with a customer support team serving customer in the field. They are a small dynamic team with great opportunities for people with the right skills and the enthusiasm to apply them.

Job Description:
The opportunity has arisen for an engineer to join the Engineering Design team as Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. The successful applicant would require a very strong capability and background in high precision machine tool design as well as a strong appreciation of electrical, electronic and other engineering disciplines. The Engineering Design team is managed by the Engineering Director.
Experience Requirements:
The opportunity would best suit a person of graduate level intellectual ability with a strong design talent and practical engineering background.
A determination to understand and fix engineering problems as well as the availability to travel World-wide to customer sites is fundamental.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
This position requires working as part of a team, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other staff members and suppliers, at all levels, is essential.
